i moved to toronto from northern california almost six months ago... yes, this is my first winter. yes, im probably actually going to freeze to death. yes, i talk about how cold it is too often.
i tour manage for amy winehouse and i pretend to be a photographer. i used to work as a professional microwave-er at a restaurant inside the bay, but it was silly and i quit. i like to go out when i have more than 7 dollars to my name. i like to play in bookstores for hours and not buy anything. i like to stuff myself into corners of busy cafes and pretend to work at my computer while secretly spying on pretty girls. i check craigslist missed connections habitually. i like to stay up all night and sleep all day. and i really like to meet people who are interested in establishing real, person-to-person connections, not proving that theyre a bad ass motherfucker. actually, i really like bad ass motherfuckers, but i like them best when they have feelings and can be tender. im from a little hippy town, i used to have dreads, i just want to love everyone. this city is too cold, and im not complaining about the weather anymore.
i have a large heart, and lots of feelings.
